May 9 - Shopping

Shopping at the Silk Street Market. It is difficult to describe, but think of the downtown Macy's occupied by around 1,000 stalls about the size of the one Chris is in. Each one is staffed by 2 or 3 venders who grab, yell at, and generally mug everybody who passes by. The haggling is intense and a good barginner can get the price down to 20% of the original asking price.
We had dinner with a Reed-Smith Partner and now most of the students are out having fun on their own.
