Yellow Mountain

Yellow Mountain is SPECTACULAR. We probably took more pictures today than we have during the entrie trip. Unfortunately, I'm sending this from the Business Center in our hotel and we can't download pictures and then upload them to the blogger. (or at least I cannot figure it out).

From our hotel we did a 4.5 mile hike that went up about 750 feet higher than the hotel. Chasms, cliffs, flowering shrubs (I'm not going to try to spell rhododendrums, but that's what they were), and one breathtaking vista after another. There's karaoke in our hotel and some of the studeents are going to give it a shot tonight ... should be fun.

Tomorrow we have to get up at 4:00 AM to watch the sunrise and then we visit the village where they filmed Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. After that we get some free time back at the foot of the mountain in Tunxi before catching an overnight train for Shanghai.

Probably will not be able to post anything tomorrow, but will be back blogging after we get to Shanghai.
